Looking Good

So this weekend, 16 of the guys (13 A and 3 callups) headed into New York to Binghampton for a tournament. Let's just say there were lots of stories and lots of pictures so party wise we had an amazing weekend.

Ultimate wise here's a breakdown of games. Note that the Sunday was cancelled, but I'm pretty sure we would have taken every team.

Day 1 - Game 1 - vs Stony Brook
13-4 Win - We came out strong and put our zones to work even in very nice conditions. They were about 2 players deep and couldn't keep up with us.

Day 1 - Game 2 - vs RIT A
13-3 Win - This team looked stronger, but again couldn't handle our depth and intense defense. We made quick work of this team.

Day 1 - Game 3 - vs Cornell B
13-0 Win - This team didn't have a chance. We put the fisherman on for the majority of the game, and this team couldn't really link up more than a few passes. Our offense was almost perfect with just 2 errors (one coming from myself).

Day 1 - Game 4 - vs Colgate (number one seed in our pool)
13 - 5 Win - These guys gave us a bit of a scare as they took the lead 4-2. We called a time out, pulled off our zones, and focused in on their hucker. We went on to comeback and win the game handily.

Overall, a good weekend for Tula. We improved our zones significantly and got a lot of experience for many of our guys. There were two teams that might have given us a run in the tournament, but I think we would have won without any major challenges.
