Ladies, there was some really impressive work today with the new setup we're working on. We only have 4 more practices so it's really important that we're absorbing this.

We worked on a really good Ho W, or as we say in the States, "spread". With this new field positioning, our cutters need to really work hard to get that disc. Stay with your hard cut, a lot of people were getting open once they stuck with their cut and kept going until their defender fell behind them and we were able to get a great up field pass. There were some great continuation cuts as well. Remember to return to your sideline after you have made your cut.

Handlers: Our dump cuts need to be clear. Start with a hard cut in one direction and if that isn't open, plant and look for another solid cut. There is very little space and constantly faking and running around will only tired you out and confuse the thrower. Let's make it easy for each other and try and communicate to the person holding the disc.

Tid Bits:
-sign up for CUPA and keep your registration number handy
-start thinking about the Nationals mixed CD contest. The theme will be out tomorrow and all entry's must be in by Wednesday of next week.
*Note: people who are not going to nationals may also submit if a mix if they wish. (there will be a sweet prize)
-find a tossing buddy for this weekend.
-Try and make it to our evening game on Wednesday next week
-get pumped up

The flow and throws are looking better and better! Be confident in all the work you have accomplished this past month of practices.

-Lexi
